The Bone Clock

This French Gothic horror tale tells of the darkly mysterious Charbonneau family who live in a crumbling chateau outside the tiny village of Le Fleaucasse. However, the main narrative is missing. All that remains is the supporting matter--prologue, glossary, appendices, etc. Working from the author's own notes, sketches, and clippings, renowned scholar Dr. L. A. Guettler of Hillhaven University has stitched together a peripheral framework through which an astute reader might guess at the content of the missing text.
